Managing Attendance

Outline
Failure to manage poor attendance has a knock-on effect across an organisation and can quickly lead to demoralisation amongst other staff.  This workshop offers practical and informative solutions to common absence problems.

Who is it for?
Managers and supervisors who have people management responsibility.

Course objectives
At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

• Understand the importance of attendance management and the impact absence has on the workplace
• Carry out return to work discussions and use questioning techniques
• Be aware of what causes staff absence
• Understand the legal aspects of absence
