An area many managers would prefer to avoid, the disciplinary or grievance process can be challenging.  This course provides an overview including the legal aspects of disciplinary and grievance proceedings

Who is it for?
Anyone involved in the day to day management of employee disciplinary or grievance situations.

Course objectives
By the end of the workshop participants will

• Understand the common causes of disciplinary action
• Understand the common causes of grievance
• Be able to understand and apply their organisation’s disciplinary and grievance policies
• Be familiar with the ACAS code of practice
• Feel comfortable preparing for and attending a disciplinary hearing
• Understand the importance of note taking and confidentiality
