What prevents us from thinking creatively? This workshop looks at how our educational system and organisational processes are designed to streamline thinking processes but have largely succeeded in eliminating creative thinking from an early age. It is designed to bring some of the joy of creative thinking that we had as children back into the workplace.
Who is it for?
The workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to develop more creative thinking skills at work, particularly with a view to using these skills to find a different approach to problem solving.
Course objectives
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to
•Understand how the creative brain works
•Think vertically and laterally
•Apply brainstorming techniques
•Use Mind mapping
•Use creative thinking tools and develop their own style and tools
This workshop can be run as a one day or half day programme for a maximum of 10 participants. It can also be tailored to run in house at a location of your choice.
