Anna is an associate of Smith Halsall. She is a chartered fellow of the CIPD, holds an MSc in Organisational Behaviour and is an affiliated member of the British Psychological Society. Anna has been involved with work-life balance issues for the last 12 years and is an acknowledged expert in the field. She is the author of a number of publications, including the book ‘Part-time Workers’ available from the CIPD and the groundbreaking report ‘Quality of Life in the City’ which looked at the issues faced by City of London workers. Anna regularly speaks about the business benefits of people friendly working arrangements and has been interviewed by the media about the challenges faced by working parents. Anna’s earlier career encompassed a number of senior HR roles in City institutions – hence she is no stranger to long hours working and international cultures. The mother of a son approaching his teenage years, she also has first hand experience of juggling work with family responsibilities. |
